Everyday Escapes
My practice sparked a deeper fascination with objects that symbolized celebration and escape. These tiny, playful items, carried the same spirit in color, and optimism that drew me to the Zinnias. Over time, my art has evolved in whimsical ways. The presence of my daughter introduced pinks and purples into my palette, colors I never wore, never associated with myself. It happened almost by accident, yet these hues began to influence me profoundly. They became symbols of transformation, tenderness, and the quiet ways life shapes us without our noticing.
