Here is the behind the scenes of the art piece I created for the Nespresso Flagship Boutique in NYC. This painting was inspired by my morning coffee and the ruby-throated hummingbird, a symbol of ecological balance and resilient beauty. Each layer of aluminum foil represents a cup of coffee across time. Some are hidden. Some glow. Some reflect light without color. At daybreak, in Costa Rica or New York, the sun reveals what is right in front of us, potential, community, and renewal. How do you enjoy your coffee?
